New York is Resilient (for now)

So far New York City seems to be completely resilient from the storm.  I went for a walk on the upper east side and was shocked and excited to see not a single store was closed! The snow has been coming down hard, blowing horizontally so you have to hold the umbrella out in front of you and keep peaking to make sure you don't hit anyone or get hit by a car!  The streets are covered in an inch of grayish brown sludge, but just walking three blocks I saw three different snow plows clearing the snow from the roads and replacing it with salt.  So far it doesn't look like the storm has kept anyone inside, I saw kids walking home from school, moms pushing strollers, men on delivery bikes, and everyone else you can imagine.

I think I have everything I need for the next few days.  Looks like this might be a great time to write a few songs!

P.S. The snow recently came to a stop! But they say the worst isn't going to hit until one am tomorrow morning. We'll see!
