Getting You Started with the Right Sites (Social Media Saturday #1)

You might be familiar with my  Songwriting Tip of the Week Wednesdays, well now I'm also going to start "Social Media Saturdays!" sharing little tips and tricks of how to best promote yourself online.

Step number 1, you must be present to win! Are you on all of the main sites?  To get you and your career started, whether it be a business, you're a musician, singer, actor or public figure, it doesn't matter.  There are certain platforms you must be on to build your online audience.  

1. Facebook

2. Twitter

3. Instagram

4. YouTube

5. LinkedIn

Those are the big 5 for everyone, but if you are in the music business you also need to be on:

6. ReverbNation

7. SoundCloud

There are many more helpful sites that we will get to in the weeks to come, but for starters, make sure you're present on all of those sites and I will see you next week!
