Tip #38: Stick the landing

The most optimal place to reach your listener is at the end of each section of the song, i.e. the end of the verse, end of the chorus, etc.  The listener is most likely to remember the last thing they hear best, so use those last few words to leave an impression on your listener! In gymnastics, gymnasts focus on sticking their landing when they come out of a trick, this is exactly what we need to do as writers by making our last words memorable!
