A hook book is a book full of every song ideas, hooks and phrases. It can be a literal notepad, the notes section in your phone, a document in the cloud, etc. A hook book should always be on your person so anytime you have a song idea you can write it down right then! The main point of a hook book is to have all of your ideas in one place that way you don't have to go searching for ideas when you go to write a song.
